Senior Software Testing Engineer

Location: Eden Prairie MN

Current opening and immediate need for a Senior Software Testing Engineer.

Skills/ Responsibilities

  • Use the latest test automation tools/technologies such as Protractor and Selenium to build an automation framework that drives end-end-end product coverage.
  • Work with your Scrum team to develop and automate test cases in a primarily JavaScript/.Net environment for our applications to ensure what we build meets the highest levels of quality
  • Play a role in the entire development process, participating in a continuous flow of planning, design, test development and execution, data and system analysis and communication of test results
  • Mentor other QA Engineers on the tools and techniques used by the teams
  • Participate in all Scrum activities, perform code reviews, contribute to a high performing, growing team
  • Work with the QA Practice to continually refine and improve our Quality Assurance process
 

Additional skills

  • Advanced Technical Competency with web and API software testing tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Protractor or other similar tools
  • Advanced Experience developing and designing tests for SaaS and/or Service Oriented Architectures
  • Advanced Experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS and C#
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and how to ensure quality within such environments
  • Experience testing responsive applications
  • Experiencing developing test plans for different levels of test (unit, integration, performance, ui, etc) across a platform and how to best apply the different types of tests
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience working with distributed version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with Ruby, Groovy or similar languages
